About Paul Smith (Lead Internet Marketeer)
Over 14 years experience within the marketing industry his work experience within not for profit, sporting and commercial industries is supported by the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Chartered Status.
Paul’s online experience started towards the end of the 90’s managing the development of Hull University Unions online presence. Understanding the improvements web technologies could have on poor communication channels and the integration of offline activities attracted Hull to become an innovator within the Student Union movement. Paul worked closely with developers in order to create a CRM systems to that integrated e-commerce, door entry, EPOS systems and student membership.
Paul’s natural progression towards Internet Marketing has been supported by obtaining Google’s qualified professional status allowing him to give expert advice and develop online strategies that integrate with offline marketing plans.
In his spare time Paul teaches basic web design for East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Adult Education scheme and is an avid follower of Hull FC.
